Short.io now offers a new standard of customization for testing purposes - .short.gy. Previous .shortcm.li domains were created based on the customer's email address; short.gy domains will be built in alphabetical order and in the most orderly. For example, 34.short.gy or g.short.gy.

Benefits of a new test domain

The domain is short. The subdomain is made in order, not an email address. That saves the characters. Instead of my email. short.li, customers get 87.short.gy.
The domain is secure. There were instances when some Short.io users registered an email such as "paymentpaypal@gmail.com." As a result, the common domain became "pay PayPal.short cm.li", which confused Internet users. After that, the customer was banned. To avoid such cases, sequencing is the appropriate solution.
The domain is flexible. Shortcm.li domains are compromised by spam; which is why they are blocked by all social networks and email providers. Short.gy domains can be used in social media and email marketing.
Important: Changing the test domain is not available. Customers who subscribe to Short.io via company email can request a shorter domain.li with a custom subdomain.
